A video released Monday shows a dramatic rescue of a woman attempting to commit suicide near the San Diego 2013 Comic-Con.

An unidentified woman was filmed standing outside a balcony, preparing to jump 14 floors to the ground on July 19. The woman, who was reportedly depressed and suicidal over a breakup, was hysterical and caused onlookers to yell for help from the street below her.

Several stuntmen from the company Stunts 911, who were walking to the Comic-Con 2013 convention nearby, were alerted and rushed to the scene. Stunts 911 member Gregg Sergeant and his co-workers shared the tale with San Diego's ABC 23 News.

"We burst into the room and she was on the patio," Sergeant said, adding that initially there was a delay in reaching her because she locked the hotel door.

ABC 23 has the exclusive video where Sergeant is seen sneaking up behind the woman and then grabbing her from behind with the help of his coworkers Scott Schecter and Amos Carver. They placed rigging around the woman to secure her before they moved her from balcony.
