La La Anthony wouldn't be shy if she landed the lead in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie.

"If that opportunity came my way, I would take it," Anthony gushed to EnStars on July 19 while promoting her new partnership with Caress®.

"I love that book. I'm a huge fan," she said.

The trendsetting star of La La's Full Court Life revealed she'd want to play Anastasia Steele, opposite Christian Grey, adding she wouldn't be shy about taking it all off because the payoff would be worth it.

"That book spread like wildfire everywhere. It went from one person knowing about it to every person you ran into talking about it... so if the opportunity came, I'd do it," Anthony revealed.

The film adaptation of E.L. James' 50 Shades of Grey will be released on August 1, 2014.

Focus Features, the studio behind the racy flick, recently took to Facebook to make the highly coveted announcement, and the page featured the following announcement: "The global release of Fifty Shades of Grey will start in North America on Friday, August 1st, 2014 with opening dates around the world to be announced. The Focus Features domestic theatrical release will be in theaters nationwide. Universal Pictures International is releasing the movie in the rest of the world."

Sam Taylor-Johnson was recently recruited to direct the film.According to Deadline, Taylor-Johnson, who directed Nowhere Boy, which is about the Beetles' John Lennon, brought an end to the director search, which initially started in June 2012.

The website also mentioned that Anna Karenina's Joe Wright was a top candidate to direct, but his schedule wasn't compatible with the films'.

"I am excited to be charged with the evolution of Fifty Shades of Grey from page to screen," Taylor-Johnson said in a statement. "For the legions of fans, I want to say that I will honor the power of Erika's book and the characters of Christian and Anastasia. They are under my skin too."

Casting rumors have centered around who will land the lead as S&M-crazed billionaire, Christian Grey. Man of Steel's Henry Cavill seems to easily be a top contender, along with actors Matt Bomer, Ryan Gosling and The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder.

Although casting rumors have been swirling for months, no official casting decisions have been announced.
