A new photo of Robert Pattinson posing with Beyoncé backstage at one of her concerts debunked the rumor that he was denied access to a meet and greet with the singer.

The alternative hip-hop band Death Grips posted a photo on their Facebook page on July 21, which showed the group posing with Beyoncé and the Twilight star. The picture was taken while they were backstage at her July 1 concert held at Los Angeles' Staples Center.

On the same date, Active Child, another alternative music artist shared news of the sighting on Twitter.

"Robert Pattinson hanging w death grips at the beyonce show. am I in the twilight zone?" he wrote.

A fan called the group photo on Death Grips' Facebook page the "picture of the year."

In Touch reported on July 5 that the British hunk was denied the opportunity to meet the Houston native, because he didn't request an access pass in advance.

An eyewitness told the celebrity weekly that Pattinson and four male pals were "trying to get into the Beyoncé meet and greet, but he didn't have the right credentials and he didn't make it in!"

"They tried to sneak into the meet and greet!" the insider told the celebrity weekly. "[Rob] waited for 10 minutes at the door and security said no. He was drunk. He was at the concert with four dudes, smoking, but in a great mood."

Pattinson reportedly handled the rejection well and kindly accommodated requests from Twilight fans to posed for pictures backstage.

Pattinson is currently in Toronto filming Map To The Stars. He was photographed over the weekend chatting and smiling with Mia Wasikowska, one of his costars from the film. Wasikowska (Alice In Wonderland) and Pattinson were snapped at the OK OK Diner in Toronto, between takes for the movie directed by David Cronenberg. The actor plays a struggling musician who moonlights as a limo driver. Wasikowska plays his onscreen love interest.
