Amid Amanda Bynes' bizarre behavior and legal troubles, fellow All That star Nick Cannon reached out to the starlet, revealing that a music collaboration might be in the works.

"We communicated, and I let her know I was there for her if she needed anything," he told EnStars on Monday while promoting his new partnership with Snapple. "No matter what the public opinion is of her, I wanted her to know I was there for her."

Surprisingly, Bynes only wanted to talk about her music career, Cannon said.

"She only wanted to talk to me about her music. She was very excited. I told her, 'Hey, if you need me, I'm here. I got beats,'' the America's Got Talent host recalled of their conversation.

Cannon believes she'll be able to stand out among the hit makers like Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears.

"She has her own unique voice, and she has a fan base, so she's probably just as talented as a lot of other people out there doing music," he revealed.

In June, Bynes announced she was breaking into the music business.

According to Waka Flocka Flame, she has a potential deal in the works with the rapper and may soon sign to his hip-hop label, Brick Squad Monopoly records.

But her music career might be on hold. As EnStars previously reported on Monday, Bynes allegedly set fire to a California woman's driveway and was subsequently hospitalized on a 5150 hold -- a 72-hour involuntary hospitalization during which the individual in question undergoes a mental health evaluation.

"Amanda Bynes was involved in a disturbance in a residential neighborhood last night in Thousand Oaks in the 200-block of Avenida De Los Arboles," Captain Don Aguilar of Ventura County Sheriff's Office told EnStars in a statement. "Deputies investigated the incident and determined that she met the criteria of 5150 W&I (California Welfare & Institutions Code). She was detained and taken for a mental health evaluation. Ventura County Fire Dept. also responded to this incident in reference to a report of a gas can on fire in a driveway."
