Jennifer Lawrence videobombed Jeff Bridges at Comic-Con 2013 over the weekend, getting starstruck and running away with an assistant before she mustered up the courage to talk to the acclaimed actor.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire actress was done with red carpet interviews about the upcoming action film and was about to leave when she saw Bridges in an interview with E! to promote his film Seventh Son.

While his back was to her, she approached him but then, out of fear, fled in the opposite direction with another woman. Bridges spotted the ordeal and turned around. The Oscar winner waved "Hi" to him and then went came back on the red carpet to talk with the Big Lebowski star.

"Oh my God, I'm like your biggest fan, I'm so sorry," Lawrence said, giving Bridges a hug in midst of his interview. "I'm so sorry for interrupting you, there's cameras everywhere."

The reporter talking to Bridges saw how excited Lawrence was and handed the microphone to her, giving her the opportunity to interview Bridges herself. She gasped and then proceeded to briefly interview Bridges, asking about his favorite movie role.

"What's your favorite movie you've ever done? Who's your favorite character? Did it rhyme with 'the Schmude?' " she inquired, trying to get him to admit that The Dude was his favorite role.

After Bridge praising a movie by director Scott Cooper called Out of the Furnace, Lawrence thanked him and ran off while smiling

The run-in was videotaped by Extra TV and posted Monday on YouTube. The video had a little over 430,000 views at time of publication.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released in theaters on Nov 22, 2013, and Seventh Sons will hit theaters Jan. 17, 2014.
