Three-time The Voice winner Blake Shelton discussed his wife Miranda Lambert and fellow coach Adam Levine in August 2013 issue of Men's Heallh.

Shelton, 37, fronts the magazine and in his cover story he joked that he wished the recently engaged Maroon 5 frontman was more like him-- meaning less perfect

"I get frustrated with Adam because, to me, rock stars are supposed to be drunk all the time. But he's very healthy," Shelton quipped to the publication. "He takes care of himself. And it drives me crazy, because I want him to be more like me," said the country crooner, adding, "drunk all the time."

Shelton also discussed his award-winning country singing wife Miranda Lambert. He said the beautiful blonde, unbeknownst to her fans, has a fiery side.

"I don't give her too much sh-t, that's like poking a bear," Shelton confessed. "She's as lovable as can be - until you cross her. She'll go from zero to 100 real quick," he revealed. "If Miranda has an inkling you're saying something hardass to her, it's gonna be a problem," he added.

Shelton endured media criticism after he won The Voice for the third year in a row in season 4.

Shelton's country act, Danielle Bradbery, 16, became the youngest winner in The Voice's history. Because it was Shelton's third win with the hit NBC show, he was criticized in multiple reports. Shelton also won The Voice Season 3 with his act Cassadee Pope and Season 2 with Jermaine Paul. Season 1 went to Adam Levine's team member Javier Colon.

Blake told HollywoodLife at the time that critics can "kiss my a**" for the remarks about his third win a row.

The fifth season of The Voice will premiere on Sept. 23 on NBC.
