Josh Hutcherson praised his Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Jennifer Lawrence in a recently released Comic-Con video.

Discussing Lawrence's Oscar win for Silver Linings Playbook and her career choices, Hutcherson gushed about his onscreen leading lady in an interview with Extra.

"It was really amazing. I mean, it couldn't happen to a more deserving, nicer, down to earth, like truly talented person," he said, referring to her Oscar win. "I feel like sometimes it can be a fluke, and it's not a fluke. She's legit. The fact that she can go from doing an Academy Award-winning movie to X-Men to Hunger Games. Just, like, the versatility is inspiring."

Hutcherson also talked about what he and Lawrence like to do when they're not filming scenes for Catching Fire.

"We try to do as little as possible because we have to do so much when we're working. When it's us just hanging out, [we're] just relaxing, listening to music, just taking it easy," he said.

This isn't the first time Hutcherson has addressed his relationship with Lawrence. Though they are just friends, he told Life & Style in February that he was there for her when she broke up with then boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

Discussing future love interests for Lawrence, Hutcherson asserted, "It's got to be someone amazing because she's amazing." He explained that love has to be a "mutual exchange" in order for two people to have a successful relationship.

As for the new Hunger Games film, Hutcherson told Extra that he was very excited for people to see it.

"We really upped the ante all around. Everything is bigger. The characters really go on a great journey. I can't wait for people to see it," he said.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released on Nov. 22 in theaters nationwide.
