Beyonce revealed her inner geek when she shared photos of herself wearing a Batman mask on her Tumblr page on Friday.

The 31-year-old channeled DC Comics character Bruce Wayne in a close-up "selfie" of herself with a serious expression.

In the second image, she posed in a toy store with family and friends who were also wearing superhero masks, including the Hulk and Spiderman.

The mother of one professed her love for one super hero in an interview with the L.A. Times. She told the newspaper that she loves Wonder Woman and would love to reprise the role made famous by Lynda Carter on the big screen.

Beyonce told the LA times that if a Hollywood director were to cast her in the iconic role, "it would be a very bold choice" because of her race.

"A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing," Beyonce chimed. "It's time for that, right?" 

The Halo singer admitted that she would need to be in top shape because Carter's hourglass figure makes for a hard act to follow.

"I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume," she said. "The way that Lynda Crater wore it, she was sooo fine. She was amazing."

"I saw her costume at the Met," she shared. "Her waist was unbelievable. It was pretty crazy, actually, her proportions."

Zack Snyder, who directed Man of Steel, revealed at San Diego Comic Con on July 20 that the film's sequel will feature Batman. David S. Goyer, the film;s screenwriter later slipped that movie is in the pre-production stages and it will arrive in theaters in 2015. He also shared someof the mvoie titles that Warner Bros. movie company is considering.

"So the next film we're making, we're already in pre-production, comes out in summer of 2015 and we're actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that's happening," Goyer told a Comic Con panel, according to Movieweb.com.
