There's also drama between Michael, Carmine and Lauren. Michael and Carmine start fighting each other until Michael knocks Carmine out with a fireplace poker. Later on, Carmine disappears and his whereabouts are unknown.

Meanwhile, Lauren is still held hostage by ex-lover Carmine. Tracey Bregman, who plays Lauren, had her own opinion about being captured.

"Carmine was obsessed with Lauren. But he started out such a sweet, gentle soul. She never imagined he'd become psychotic and physically dangerous," Bregman told TV Guide. "[Fans] liked the flirting between Lauren and Carmine but the second it crossed the line into an actual affair, it was really hard for them to take."

Last week Phyllis was rushed to the hospital, which was only the beginning of trauma. When Jack visits her to talk about being Summer's father, Phyllis struggles to speak and reveal her feelings. Later on in the week, Jack declares his love for Phyllis.

After Sharon visits Phyllis at the hospital, matters only get worse. Phyllis, who has been having multiple seizures, may not be able to regain consciousness and make it out of coma.

As almost everyone's life seems to be going downhill, Avery and Nick's wedding gets postponed as well.
