The star of NBC's The Bachelor season 18 has not been revealed yet, but there's a high chance that former Bachelorette contestant Juan Pablo Galavis could land the role.

A source close to the show told E! News that Galavis has already been offered the gig.

"He's been told the gig is his if he wants it," the insider reveals. "He's definitely interested and will most likely accept, although nothing's been signed yet."

When asked if Juan Pablo would take the offer, he told People, he is "ready to fall in love again" and if he "found the right woman, it would be worth it."

"I want to find a stepmom for [my daughter] Camilla and I want to have two more kids," he said. "Camilla asks me for brothers and sisters all the time. And I just want to find someone who loves me and wants to do the little stuff with me."

Juan Pablo, who was eliminated on the July 1 episode by Desiree Hartsock, has many qualities that make him a top contender. His toned body, which mostly came from being a former professional soccer player, physical charm and Venezuelan accent have already attracted viewers.

"Girls in America will love Juan Pablo. They would love to see him as the Bachelor, because I get that on my Twitter feed all the time," Hartsock revealed.

The 31-year-old Miami resident already has 45,000 followers on Twitter and is known to be a fan favorite. While on The Bachelorette he brought no drama to the show, being friends with almost everyone. He recently celebrated contestant Zak Waddell's birthday over dinner with Waddell's family, as noted on Twitter.

"Not only do women seem to love him, casting him will help soothe accusations the series doesn't include enough minorities," the source added.

Because the show's producers are always looking for a change, Pablo will be a fresh change indeed, as he will be the first Spanish-speaking bachelor. The sports and music consultant is not after fame and claims he won't be using the show to promote his business. He even tweeted, "I'm not FAMOUS, just a REGULAR guy," when a fan asked, "What is it like to be this famous all of the sudden?!"

Pablo has some tough decisions to make before deciding on becoming the 18th Bachelor.

"It would be a very hard decision to make. If I was the one in charge, I would have to be away from my daughter for even longer and I don't know that I want to do that again," he said. "You have to say goodbye to so many people and I hate making somebody cry or making them sad. That part would really [be] tough on me."
