In the aftermath of Kanye West's inability to stop talking about him and his relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, comedian Pete Davidson quickly rose to prominence throughout the world. 

Apparently, the attention he is receiving today is the first time he has received such a large amount of attention, surpassing even his brief romance and engagement with Ariana Grande. 

Despite his public declaration on social media that he wishes to reunite with the KKW Beauty entrepreneur, the 28-year-old comedian is said to be avoiding the "Donda" hitmaker for the time being. 

Kanye didn't hold back when it came to criticizing Kim's new relationship with the "Saturday Night Live" actor.

According to a series of now-deleted Instagram postings, the father-of-four indicated that he's wanting to reunite Kim and their children; he even posted many pictures about Pete, with one post encouraging his followers to yell "Kimye." 

However, according to a source who talked with Hollywood Life, Pete is not pleased with all of the public drama. 

In his defense, "Pete has certainly never been in a situation like this before, so it is understandable that he is still trying to figure out how to handle this entire issue." 

The insider verified that Pete Davidson was not terrified of Kanye West in the least, but he expressed his desire for the turmoil surrounding him, his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend to come to a stop. 

"The most important thing Pete can do for Kim is to simply be there for her and try to be as supportive as a partner as he possibly can." 

According to the insider, when the Staten Island native began dating the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" actress, he was already anticipating that there would be some controversy. 

His girlfriend, on the other hand, was capable of running her own business, so it didn't concern him in the slightest.

However, since Kanye has begun to bring Pete into the conflict, "of course he has some form of feelings," says Kanye. 

"Pete believes that the best course of action is to remain away from Kanye and avoid poking the bear, as it were." 

Pete, according to reports, is unconcerned by it and is instead preoccupied with his life and his good relationship with Kim Kardashian. 

"He is focused on doing his own thing, and he will not allow Kanye to get in the way of their relationship," says the source. 

This comes on the heels of the rapper's separation with Julia Fox, whom he had been seeing for less than a month at the time.
