Comedian Pete Davidson surprises fans with an appearance at the 2022 Emmys and netizens took to Twitter to point out a few things they noticed from the SNL star.

On September 12, the "Saturday Night Live" alum appeared onstage at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards to present the Outstanding Comedy Series award to the sports comedy-drama series "Ted Lasso". The 28-year-old actor wore a gray jumpsuit and iconic vintage white shades during his appearance.

"Hello, before I say anything, I just want to say how about a shout-out to Kenan Thompson," Davidson started his speech on stage. "The guy's been in the zone for the past 30 years just making us smile. And he's an absolute treasure. I'm honored to call him a friend. This is really cool."

The speech was Davidson's first public appearance, following his recent split from reality star Kim Kardashian. Shortly after, Davidson had been inactive on social media, to which sources revealed that he had been undergoing trauma therapy.

Among the nominees include "Abbott Elementary", "Barry", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Hacks", "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", "Only Murders In the Building" and "What We Do In the Shadows".

Fans Noticed Something Odd

However, netizens on Twitter seemed to notice one weird thing during his speech. Throughout his time onstage, Pete's jaw kept noticeably moving sideways, to which people on social media accuse him of having a "coke jaw", which is a physical side effect of using cocaine.

Aside from the concerning body movement, other netizens took to clowning one other thing about his physical appearance, specifically, his fashion.

Fans Jump to Davidson's Defense

Amidst the post-Emmy awards memes circulating on Twitter, some fans jumped to Davidson's defense by sympathizing on a recent commemoration of 9/11.

The comedian's sister recently paid tribute to their father, a firefighter who died during the terrorist incident.
