Things are looking bad for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky these days.

The Barbados beauty is already pregnant and will give birth shortly. When they returned to Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday morning, they were surprised to see cops handcuffing A$AP Rocky and bringing him in. 

Even though the rapper has already paid $550,000 bail, the couple's situation is far from over. 

According to an informant who spoke to The Sun, the "Diamonds" hitmaker was present when her beau was detained and has been sobbing nonstop. 

"She's substantially pregnant, and these are severe charges; it's a nightmarish circumstance for her." 

The pair returned to Los Angeles on Wednesday since Rihanna's baby shower was scheduled for that evening. 

However, because to what happened, she was compelled to cancel the gathering to commemorate the impending arrival of their first child.

"Rihanna was really unhappy and anxious as a result of Rocky's arrest." 

Because of the 35-year-old singer's pregnancy, the insider noted that now is not the time for her to embark on another roller coaster trip. 

According to the Los Angeles Times, police had been watching A$AP Rocky, whose true name is Rakim Mayers, for several months before making their move. 

Authorities searched his residence after he was arrested in connection with the offense he was charged with. 

According to a statement made by the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday, the alleged gun attack in November 2021 occurred after a quarrel between "two acquaintances." 

They also stated that an altercation occurred, which culminated in the suspect discharging a revolver at the victim, who sustained minor injuries and received medical care. 

Following the gunshot, the suspect and two other male suspects left the area on foot. 

Authorities have been examining and correlating the reporting information since the event, which quickly assisted in identifying the culprit involved - A$AP Rocky.

It's unclear what he was doing in the Hollywood region the night of the attack, but he was scheduled to headline a music event in California alongside Rihanna after the incident. 

The case has now been forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration. 

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky revealed in early 2022 that they were expecting their first child together.
