Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker shocked the world when they got engaged after a few months of dating, and it made headlines for weeks. Although almost all of the Kardashian-Jenner family approved of them getting married soon, there was one member who broke down in tears; who could this be?

According to People Magazine, a recent episode of "The Kardashians" on Hulu aired on Thursday, and fans got a glimpse of how the Poosh founder's daughter, Penelope Disick, reacted when she found out that the "Blink 182" drummer popped the question.

After saying yes and accepting a commitment of a lifetime, the mom of three called her children she shares with Scott Disick to break the news.

She called her daughter via FaceTime as Kourtney sits beside with her sister Kim in a separate room.

"Do you want to know what my surprise was? We got engaged!" Kourtney said.

Even though the viewers can't see the reality star's phone, the kid can be heard crying on the phone while Kim asks, "Penelope! Why are you crying, baby?"

Following this, Kourtney revealed in a confessional that her child "took it hard" because she thinks it's a significant change for her.

The TV star clarified that Penelope loves Travis, but she didn't know "what [the engagement] means. Is that taking me away?"

Khloe, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner later sat down to discuss the engagement with Kourtney.

The Good American co-founder said Scott Disick had already found out the news as he asked her why his kids weren't present when Travis popped the question.

The children were absent because Kris Jenner decided not to invite them to avoid lying to Scott about where they'd be.

Khloe later opened up that Penelope was upset, and Kourtney's kids thought they were losing their father.

"They think their dad is gone and Travis is replacing him. When you're a kid, you think you have to pick one, so P's reaction is understandably okay."

The "Revenge Body" star then recalled her past, saying it was the same thing they felt about Caitlyn Jenner when she got engaged to her mom.

When their father, Robert Kardashian, accepted Caitlyn, they felt like they could be friends with the former Olympian and get along with her.
