It's official! The third season of "Emily in Paris" began its production, and fans can't wait to see it on their TV screens soon!
The Netflix series' official Instagram account teased fans on Wednesday by posting a photo of what appeared to be a table reading session by the cast members.
A script can be seen on a red table and a name tag, "Emily, Lilly Collins."
The second photo showed Lilly Collins with her on-screen bestie, Ashley Park.
The caption reads, "Back at a table together, and it's not for a client meeting or a dinner party. production on season 3 is starting now!"
The same photo was also posted on the actress' account with the caption, "Reunited in Paris! Let season 3 filming begin!"
Despite receiving backlash for depictions of French stereotypes and overrepresentation during its first season, "Emily In Paris" continued to thrive as it was renewed for a fourth season.
As of this writing, Netflix has not publicly announced the show's official release date.
'Emily in Paris' Season 3 Possible Storylines Based on Reddit Theories
Reddit users have been using the community platform to share spoilers, insiders, and thoughts on different series.
However, Screen Rant reported that users of the platform, dubbed as Redditors, have also shared their different takes on "Emily In Paris" season 3's possible storylines.
After leaving Savoir, Reddit user @brkon theorized that Emily would stay in Paris to work for Sylvie and continue her romance with Alfie.
However, it will not be easy for them as Alfie will move back to London, and their relationship will be long-distance.
Emily's best friend, Mindy, will be mega-successful as her band will take over the music scene. The show will then introduce her wealthy family, who will accept her new life overseas.
Another theory by @Resident-Success5315 theorizes that Emily will finally leave Paris and go home to Chicago. However, she will realize that her life has changed big time in the city of love, so she will go back to France.
Her relationship with Alfie will not work, so she will pursue Gabriel and ultimately ditch her friend Camille.
