It appears Lori Harvey has her family's back as her mother, Marjorie Harvey is the recent person to seemingly react to her breakup with Michael B. Jordan after her father Steve expressed his thoughts on his show.

According to E! Online, the 57-year-old fashion enthusiast took to her Instagram stories to share a cryptic video from Jennifer Lewis a few days after news surrounding her daughter's breakup circulated online.

"You sit in s*** too long, it stops smelling, so come the f*** outta there," she said.

Despite the speculations, Marjorie has not publicly confirmed whether she was referring to the breakup or not.

The latest reaction comes a day after her husband Steve revealed his true feelings over the breakup.

Speaking to his "Steve Harvey Morning Show," the "Family Feud" host confirmed the split, saying he feels "fine" and would support his daughter in any circumstances.

"I'm team Lori, 1,000 percent, she's my daughter. I love her, I support her," he added. (via Complex)

The TV personality said it's hard to maintain a steady relationship especially when both parties are in the limelight. He also believes that the couple broke up amicably.

Although the exact cause of the breakup has not been revealed yet, Steve said there were no "busted windows" and there was no violence involved in their relationship.

"Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends... As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do," the former stand-up comedian said.

Speaking about his connection with Michael B. Jordan, the Miss Universe host appears to be fine with the actor as he labeled him as a "cool guy."

He then cracked a joke about his previous relationships, saying he's been through a lot of divorces in the past.

An insider confirmed the breakup to People Magazine a few days ago, saying Lori was not ready to commit as she's very focused on her career and business.

"Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn't work out, but she is moving on," the insider added.
