As Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey move forward from their relationship that ended earlier this month, the latter's father, Steve Harvey, has finally spoken out and shared his personal opinion about the matter.

Speaking on Monday's episode of the "Steve Harvey Morning Show," the famed Miss Universe host confirmed that the couple had split.

He also weighed in on the situation, saying he feels "fine" about it and would support his daughter all the time.

"I'm team Lori, 1,000 percent, she's my daughter. I love her, I support her," he added. (via Complex)

The "Family Feud" host then noted that it's hard to maintain a steady relationship between two celebrities, but believes the ex-couple was able to break up amicably.

Although the 65-year-old TV personality didn't reveal the exact cause of the breakup of the two, he said he never heard anyone say that they "busted" windows, or be violent.

"Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends... As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do," he added.

Regarding his future relationship with the "Black Panther" actor, it appears that Steve seems okay with his daughter's ex-boyfriend as he labeled him as a "cool guy."

He added that he's sure the pair will be fine because people "break up all the time."

Steve then cracked a joke about his personal love life, citing his previous divorces.

Lori Harvey, Michael B. Jordan Split

The latest news comes a day after an insider confirmed to People Magazine that the power couple has ended their relationship after half a year of dating.

The reason behind their breakup was Lori's issue as she reportedly "wasn't ready to commit."

The 25-year-old model and entrepreneur is said to be very focused on her career and realized that "they weren't on the same page" when they were planning for the future.

"Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn't work out, but she is moving on," the source added.

The model confirmed their relationship in January 2021 when she tagged her boyfriend in a photo that looked as if they were about to kiss each other.

According to Us Weekly Magazine, romance rumors started circulating online when they were spotted being together in late 2020.
