Obi-Wan Kenobi director Deborah Chow was asked recentl;y if this would be the last we see of the legendary Jedi in terms of the limited series, which was set of only one season. Her response, although not a confirmation of future adventures, did leave the idea open.

In an interview with RadioTimes.com, Chow said:

"You know, we always did conceive of this as a limited series. So it's not an adventure-of-the-week sort of story. It's one big story with a beginning, middle and end. So I think this story was very much conceived to be its own standalone."

Adding:

"I mean, there are of course more stories that you could tell. There's obviously another 10 years before we get to [Star Wars:] A New Hope and with a character like Obi-Wan Kenobi, I think even just watching him ride across the sand sometimes is interesting. So, who knows? It's hard to say right now, but it was not the intention."

Chow also discussed how if the show were to go into a second season, she might not be at the helm on the next go around:

"Honestly, at this point, the only thing I'm thinking about is taking vacation. I haven't gotten there. I can't even conceive of it yet. I just need to actually finish the show to get there first."

With the bevy of other Star Wars series coming to Disney+ in the near future, including Andor, Lando, Season 3 of The Mandalorian, The Acolyte, and Ahsoka, the slate seems pretty full for any further adventures with Jedi Kenobi.

But with a show this popular, never say never.
