Are Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik reconciling after their controversial split?

The ex-couple appears to be getting along well as they face the challenges of co-parenting their daughter Khai.

Despite their divorce, the 29-year-old former One Direction member and the 27-year-old supermodel maintain a "loving and caring relationship," according to an insider who talked to Us Weekly.

In truth, Gigi and Zayn allegedly don't dislike each other and are doing their best to co-parent their 21-month-old daughter.

According to the source, they are also making an effort to ensure that their kid spends enough time with both of them, who split in October 2021.

"They're not living together, but Zayn pays frequent trips to Gigi and Khai at their property in Pennsylvania." They choose to spend their time away from the city because it is safer, quieter, and more exclusive."

According to the insider, co-parenting has its ups and downs, but they want to make sure Khai is still a huge part of the "Pillow Talk" hitmaker's life.

The insider described Gigi as a hands-on parent who prefers to bring Khai to the set if the scenario permits it.

However, the blonde stunner prefers to leave her kid at home to protect Khai from the public and paparazzi, which is why she doesn't post much about her on social media.

On Father's Day, though, Gigi Hadid made a rare social media post about her kid and even sent a lovely mention to her ex-boyfriend.

The Vogue cover girl posted a photo of Khai's legs up against Zayn's tattooed legs shortly after posting a photo of herself with her father Mohamed, writing in the caption, "Happy Father's Day to my dear baba."

She then added, "& to Khai's baba," followed by a smiling face on a picture of Zayn and Khai, whose faces are not visible.

Though Gigi Hadid always has positive things to say about Zayn, the two had a falling out in the latter part of last year when the Brit pleaded no guilty to four charges of harassment in October after allegedly slamming Gigi's mother Yolanda into a dresser and called her a "f-----g Dutch s-t."

While Gigi and Zayn are co-parenting, there is no indication that they are back together or have romantic intentions.
