After Barbarian releases this summer, people might start thinking twice about where they Airbnb.

Barbarian stars Georgina Campbell (Suspicion) as Tess and IT's Bill Skarsgård as Keith, two strangers who seemingly booked the same house on a dark rainy night.

With nowhere else to stay, Keith offers to have Tess stay the night in the bedroom while he takes the couch until they can clear up the situation with the booking agent.

It isn't long before Tess finds herself alone, with no sign of Keith. While searching the basement, she finds an old rope fed through a hole in the wall, which she pulls to reveal a hidden room with a stained bed, a video camera on a tripod, and a terrifying VHS tape.

Terrified voices cry out for help in the distance ,and an eerie female voice on the tape says,

"This process might seem overwhelming."

Barbarian is the brainchild of The Whitest Kids U' Know alum Zach Cregger, who wrote and directed the film which also stars Justin Long (Dodgeball), Jaymes Butler, Kurt Braunohler (The Big Sick), Matthew Patrick Davis, and Richard Brake.

This is one of the eeriest trailers seen since the recently released Ethan Hawke ghost horror film The Black Phone. Moody, dark, and raw, everything about this screams sleeper hit.

Produced by 20th Century Studios and New Regency, Barbarian is the third feature film from Cregger and the first time he has taken on a horror flick.

Barbarian is set to hit theaters on August 31.
