Elizabeth Olsen Hopes To Continue MCU Career — But There's a Problem

Elizabeth Olsen does not want to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the past years, Olsen garnered massive attention for her role in the MCU. She famously plays the role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the franchise.

So far, she has already appeared in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Captain America: Civil War," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers: Endgame," "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," and her standalone miniseries, "WandaVision."

But the actress is not yet ready to give up her role.

On Wednesday, the 33-year-old actress sat for an interview on "The Tonight Show" and told Jimmy Fallon that she wants to reprise her MCU role.

But just like other MCU fans, she does not know her future yet.

"I don't know [if I'm coming back]. I should come back. But I don't know. I want fans to be so aggressive and terrify [Marvel] into doing it or something. I mean, that's not a good way to do anything, actually, I really take that back. No one needs to use force," she said.

She added that she would love to do more in the franchise, but Marvel Studios just could not tell about her future and fate yet.

Elizabeth Olsen Reveals Details About "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness"

Olsen received praises for her role in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." But she admitted that she has not watched it yet.

The actress clarified, though, that she wants to see it to study her role and make her acting even better.

"I had a cold when we had the premiere and I didn't want to sit through it. And so I asked them to send me a copy so I could watch it, and it had my name on [the screener] and then it had the time I was watching it and I didn't want to watch it like that," she explained.

Olsen found the text distracting and joked that the studio probably feared her selling it illegally.

The actress pledged to watch it eventually while the movie still streams on big screens.

While the MCU brings her fortune, her job in the franchise also caused her to turn down a role in "The Lobster." She disclosed that she had to let go of the character due to her commitment to Marvel.
