Blake Jenner, popularly known for playing the role of Ryder Lynn in Ryan Murphy's hit musical TV series "Glee," has been reportedly arrested after doing a shocking thing while being intoxicated.

According to Page Six, the actor got a DUI charge last Saturday, July 9, after authorities in Burbank, California, caught him driving above the legal limit.

The allegations began after the actor caught the attention of Burbank Police Department officers after speeding through a red light around 11:30 p.m.

Upon pulling him over, the 29-year-old star was asked to undergo a sobriety test which he later failed.

He was arrested and booked for DUI but got released the same day, according to reports.

Not Blake Jenner's First Allegation Over the Past Years

This was not the first allegation the actor faced over the past years as his ex-girlfriend, actress Melissa Benoist, shared a bombshell video on her Instagram account where she revealed that she'd been subjected to "intimate partner violence" that resulted in an eye injury which heavily affected her eyesight.

"I am a survivor of domestic violence or IPV (intimate partner violence), which is something I never in my life expected I would say, let alone be broadcasting into the ether," she said.

Benoist said she was in a relationship with a younger man who could be "charming, funny, manipulative and devious."

The pair reportedly started off as friends and later got involved in a deeper relationship.

At first, the actress said the abuse she'd been through was not violent until her partner got jealous and started going through her electronic devices and getting angry whenever she converses with other men.

The abusive behavior began when her partner allegedly threw a phone at her face which tore her iris, ruptured her eyeball, and broke her nose.

"This is an injury that's never going to fully heal, my vision is never going to be the same," she added.

Despite not revealing the name of her abuser, the outlet noted that many clues have pointed out Jenner was the person she was talking about.

A few months after sharing her side of the story without naming the actor, Jenner came forward in October 2020 and admitted his wrongdoings.

"I take full responsibility and accountability for the hurt that I inflicted during my relationship with my past partner... It's a moment that I will regret for the rest of my life ... If I could do anything to take it back, I would," he wrote on Instagram.
