The "Doctor Who" star, Yasmin Finney wants to be the "NEXT" trans superhero.

"I love to be a superhero. I don't want to pick between Marvel and DC and limit my possibilities but definitely a superhero, like the first trans superhero ever," she said in an interview at Attitude Pride Awards.

Finney is also open to being part of the "James Bond Film" as the first trans "bond" girl since she is a fan of this film.

 "Every film I've seen, I've always thought, 'I'd love to be that cool, sexy Bond girl" Finney said.

She also thinks that it would be astonishing if something like this happen in the future since it has never been done before.

Aside from wanting to be the first trans "Bond" girl, she also reveals that she was inspired by Caroline Cossey, who appeared as an extra in the 1981 Bond film For Your Eyes Only.

Cossey is also known for being bold in her advocacy and been educating the people around about "transgender" community.

Meanwhile, Finney will appear in "Doctor Who," although details about the character she will portray is not yet clear aside from knowing that her character's name is Rose.

On being part of the film, the actress reveals that she is genuinely happy and also shared that she felt really welcomed in their set because no one is hard to settle in as if they are a family. 

While sharing some glimpse will tickle the mind of the audience, she decided not to instead asks her fans to "tune in" as she doesn't want to spoil anything about the film.

 Finney is not the first trans actor to appear on "Doctor Who."  Bethany Black and actress Rebecca Root are also belong to "trans" community.

Previously, the actress rose to fame when she starred on Netflix's "Heartstoppers," as Elle Argent. 

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Russell Davies choose her to be part of the sci-fi film as he admitted that they fell in love with Finney in her role in "Heartstopper" and he believes that in the upcoming film, the actress will also change the "Whoniverse."

The actress said the she feel  "honored" that Davies saw a potential in her.
