Phoebe Robinson is being bold when she says that "buying an emergency contraceptive pill or plan B" is NOT and shouldn't be an issue.

In the pilot episode of the "Everything's Trash," the actress is shown buying an emergency contraception pill.

It's a normal thing to do when you do not want to get pregnant and the character in the series appears that she doesn't want to enter motherhood yet which is really okay. 

Meanwhile, the airing of the series created by a comedian-best-selling author, Robinson IS also the time when lawmakers discussing if accessing to emergency contraception pill is a right in the wake of the Roe V. wade reversal.

"There's no way I could have predicted the timing of it all, but I think with the way that things are in this country, it's good to at least have these conversations in real life, through the political sphere and also through entertainment," she said in an interview.

The actress also given her comments about the issue in which she says that "I think a lot of time people enact laws just not seeing people's humanity and just sort of going what's right and what's wrong and not recognizing the gray area."

Robinson, the creator and who is also the main character of the series says that she decided to start the episode with her buying an emergency pill because she thinks that it is the right way to introduce the character.

"She is the early thirties woman who's very confident. And even though she can be like a little messy and chaotic, she's also responsible," Robinson said.

Robinson became popular as performer and podcaster but before she became what she is right now, she experienced challenges along the way, the real-life Robinson also share that she did what the main character did in the pilot episode "It's an experience that a lot of women have had, myself included."

The series is adapted from her best-selling book "Everything's Trash But It's Okay" which she said that she is happy with the outcome of the series.

"I'm proud that it's kicking off the show and I think if you can see characters in situations like this, I think it can help humanize it," said, Phoebe Robinson.

This series is a reminder that we can enjoy life without needing to please the world and the people in it. You can make your own choices including "wanting" or "not wanting" to be a mother. The choice is up to you!
