Although she left Prince William and Prince Harry earlier than expected, Princess Diana showed how loving mother she was to her kids. In fact, one video captured a heartfelt move she did for her children.
On TikTok, a video of the late Princess of Wales participating in Prince William and Prince Harry's school race amassed over half a million views. The video garnered heartfelt comments, with people calling the People's Princess "a down-to-earth" royal member.
The video was taken in 1991 at Wetherby School on its annual sports day. PopSugar explained that schools in England organize a race for their students' parents.
Thus, Princess Diana can be seen running against other mothers while barefoot. Although she did not win, she impressed everyone by showing her humble self and participating for her children's sake.
Although she lost the 1991 event, Prince Charles' ex-wife won in 1988. At that time, Prince William also won in the egg and spoon race.

In 2017, Prince Harry said in the documentary "Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy" that Princess Diana was one of the "naughtiest parents."
"She was our mum. She still is our mum. And of course, as a son I would say this, she was the best mum in the world. She smothered us with love, that's for sure," he said.
Meanwhile, Prince William commended her for showing her true self outside the palace walls.
"She was very informal and really enjoyed the laughter and the fun. But she understood that there was a real life outside of palace walls," the heir to the throne commented, per Good Morning America.
Prince Harry, Prince William Blamed Prince Charles
After Princess Diana died in 1997, Prince William and Prince Harry started to become rebellious against Prince Charles.
According to Daily Mail columnist Richard Kay, Prince William and Prince Harry would always show an aloof approach to their father and upstage him most of the time.

"For Charles, who at the age of 48 and set in his ways found himself a single parent to two teenage boys, the years after Diana's death was tricky," Kay told the Daily Mail.
Rather than respecting him as a father and as an heir to the throne, Prince William and Prince Harry didn't care and even referred to him as a fogey.
As of press time, Prince William and Prince Charles already mended their relationship. Prince Harry, however, still has royal rifts with other members.
