Despite taking the film industry by storm in recent years, "Don't Worry Darling" actor Harry Styles explains why he won't be that active in Hollywood any time soon.

Harry Styles, known predominantly for his music career, made his major motion picture debut in "Dunkirk" in 2017, followed by the psychological thriller "Don't Worry Darling" in 2022. The former "One Direction" singer also made a cameo appearance in the post-credits scene of Marvel's "Eternals" as Thanos' brother, Eros, suggesting that he would play a major role in the Marvel cinematic universe soon.

However, it looks like Marvel won't be seeing the intergalactic playboy any time soon. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the musician expressed that acting was not actually a part of his life plan, and will opt out of the big screen for a while to focus on his true passion: Music.

"I don't imagine I'd do a movie for a while. I think there'll be a time again when I'll crave it, but when you're making music, something's happening. It feels really creative, and it feeds stuff." The 28 year old singer explained. "A large part of acting is the doing nothing, waiting thing. Which if that's the worst part, then it's a pretty good job."

With his "Love on Tour" coming up this year, Styles won't be around that much or have enough time to shoot for films. However, the "As it Was" singer was able to wrap up production on his latest film, "My Policeman" which will have its theatrical release on October 21, and is available to stream on Prime Video this November 4.

Comeback as Eros Still Possible?

In this year's San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige assured fans that Harry Styles will still return as Eros in upcoming film plans.

"The adventures of Eros and Pip is something that is very exciting for us." Reige revealed. "You're talking about Ghost Rider, we've got Blade, we've got Doctor Strange with the supernatural angles, we've got the street level with our announcement of Daredevil and of course, Spider-Man, and cosmic, and that's where our friends Eros and Pip live."

While the Marvel president confirmed Styles' return in the MCU, he did not confirm which movie the singer will make his comeback in. According to Pinkvilla, there is a high chance that Eros will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 or on Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
