Paris Hilton claims her childhood was stolen by this school in Utah and urges their shutdown amidst recollection of sexual abuse. 

In an interactive piece from the New York Times, Paris Hilton campaigns to condemn and shut down Provo Canyon school amidst resurfacing claims of sexual abuse which has allegedly spanned for decades. Paris has been vocal about regulating "troubled teen centers" since speaking out on experiencing physical and mental abuse as a teenager.

Paris Hilton claims that her childhood was 'stolen' by the alleged physical and sexual abuse she endured at Provo Canyon School, a boarding school for troubled teenagers where she spent 11 months when she was 17 years old.

Paris Details Recurring Sexual Abuse

Campaigning on her cause, Paris took to Twitter and posted a thread detailing the recurring abuse that she and other students had suffered. According to the tweets, she had been forced to undergo cervical exams performed by school staff against her will.

"At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by male staff who ushered me into a private room and performed cervical exams on me in the middle of the night," Paris tweeted in her thread. "Sleep-deprived & heavily medicated, I didn't understand what was happening. I was forced to lie on a padded table, spread my legs & submit to cervical exams."

Paris added that this was a recurring experience for her and other students among other cases of physical and mental abuse.

Paris Fights For Provo Canyon School Shutdown

Elaborating further on her cause to protect children, Paris calls on the Universal Health Services to shutdown the school amidst its troubling history.

"This was a recurring experience not only for me but for other #survivors," Paris added in her thread. "I was violated & I am crying as I type this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused. My childhood was stolen from me & it kills me this is still happening to other innocent children."

As of now, no representatives from Provo Canyon School or Universal Health Services have given any comment on the issue.
