Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, are they horrible parents?

A parenting expert said their co-parenting is moving in the wrong direction and may harm their four children in the long term.

According to Kirsty Ketley, who talked to The Sun, the erstwhile power couple's lack of an unified front and alleged communication troubles might impose stress and insecurity on North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

The parenting expert added that co-parenting is clearly a difficult undertaking, and Kim and Kanye, who divorced in February 2021, are feeling the pressure.

While it appears that they merely want the best for their children, an unified front between the two isn't working for them.

She went on to say that efficient communication will help the kids grow up, as will just being in the same room without conflict.

"Not co-parenting in this manner may have a negative impact on children."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been seen out separately with their children since their divorce over a year ago, with their marriage finally ending only last March.

Last week, though, both parents attended Saint's football game but stood far apart.

Kirsty also mentioned that children typically seek to their parents for security, thus a successful co-parenting relationship decreases stress and upset while also making them feel safe, secure, and loved.

"A smart approach to look at co-parenting is to consider it as a business agreement - no emotions should be brought into it - this is something Kim and especially Kanye should be doing," she recommended.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning singer appears to be nearing the end of his divorce proceedings with the KKW Beauty entrepreneur, as his lawyer has filed a "statement of disclosure."

According to The Blast, the rapper's lawyer submitted the papers, indicating that the lawsuit is nearing completion.

Per the paperwork, the "All of the Lights" rapper has given over all of his financial information to Kim Kardashian's legal team and has apparently agreed on how to divide their assets and finances.

This followed the Yeezy creator's opposition to his estranged wife's requests to be proclaimed legally single, which a judge approved in March 2022.
