Kim Kardashian Is Bizarrely Related To Avril Lavigne: Here's How The Stars Are Connected

Avril Lavigne is connected to the Kardashian clan in more ways than one, according to a hilarious TikTok video.

The viral video, which was first posted by TikToker Abbey Bonadies last year and recently resurfaced on Facebook, showed all the ways Lavigne is connected to Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian and Brody Jenner.

The TikTok user pointed out that Lavigne had links to Kylie and Rob due to her relationship with Tyga at the time. The pair have since called it quits.

"Let's begin. Tyga is now dating Avril Lavigne. Why is this a big deal? Let me show you," Bonadies began as she used a piece of paper and black marker to draw a flow chart showing how the "Girlfriend" hitmaker is connected to the famous family.

Bonadies noted that Tyga previously had a relationship with Blac Chyna, and they welcomed a son, King Cairo.

Blac Chyna later dated Rob, with whom she shares a daughter, Dream.

Rob is half-siblings with Kylie, who dated Tyga on and off from 2015 to 2017.

Bonadies then pointed out that Kylie has another half-brother in Brody, who used to have a "serious relationship" with Lavigne.

Lavigne and Brody dated for two years between 2010 and 2012 and even attended Kim's wedding to now ex-husband Kris Humphries together in 2011.

Then "going back to Tyga," the TikTok user noted that he was once married to Jordan Craig.

Craig was in a relationship with Tristan Thompson from 2014 until 2016, and they share a son, Prince.

The NBA player was Khloé's ex-boyfriend and shares two kids, Truth and Tatum, with the reality star.

"Khloé is siblings with Kim, with Brody, with Kylie, with Rob, and with Kourtney Kardashian, who's married to Travis Barker," Bonadies said in her video.

The TikTok user pointed out that Barker is a mentor to rapper and songwriter Mod Sun, who was previously engaged to Lavigne before they parted ways in February 2023.

In addition to their connection through Mod Sun, Lavigne is also signed to Barker's record label, DTA Records.

"There you have it, folks," Bonadies concluded her explanation.

The video, which garnered over 5 million likes on TikTok, sparked memes and jokes from social media users.

"Hollywood is just a small rural town," one TikTok user commented.

A second person joked about the number of celebrities mentioned in the video who dated the same people, writing: "Reduce, reuse, recycle."

Another wrote, "I had no idea Avril was this involved in the Kardashian universe."

"Why'd she have to go and make things so complicated," a Facebook user quipped, referencing Lavigne's hit song.

"Never ever thought I'd see Avril in the middle of a Kardashian flow chart," another wrote. "This is wild to me."

One TikTok user even shared a connection Bonadies missed in her video, pointing out that Mod Sun previously dated Bella Thorne.

Thorne was also romantically linked to Scott Disick, who dated Kourtney for 10 years and shares three children with her.

Lavigne and Tyga ended their romance for good in October last year.

In January, the "Bois Lie" singer sparked dating rumors with Nate Smith after they were spotted having dinner together at Catch in Los Angeles.

However, at the time, an unnamed insider told People that the pair were not dating but rather simply working on a music project together.
