Emma Watson Reacts To Dating Claims After Tom Felton's Confession: 'We're Soulmates'

During her time filming "Harry Potter", Emma Watson has been surrounded by dating speculations with co-star Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy. Fans have been curious for years amidst their undeniable chemistry on and off screen, even shipping the two under the couple name "Dramione" which has proved to be a popular pairing.

Emma Watson on Relationship with Tom Felton
Recently, Tom Felton revealed in his memoir titled, "Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard", that he holds a "secret love" for the "Little Women" star for years, although it did not cross the romantic line.
Emma Watson tells E! News about her sentiments towards Tom Felton, expressing that she also felt the same connection with her co-star. During their time together in "Harry Potter", Emma Watson, 12 years old, had a crush on Tom Felton, 15 years old at the time. However, Tom had been dating someone else.
"Like Tom, I always struggle to explain to people the nature of our connection and relationship," she wrote. "For more than twenty years now we've loved each other in a special way, and I've lost count of the times that people have said to me, 'You must have drunkenly made out, just once!' 'You must have kissed!' 'There must be something!'"
However, Watson emphasized that there is nothing romantic going on between them, and refers to Tom as her "soulmate". Their decades-long friendship dates continue up to now as the pair kept in touch.
"Sometimes it feels hard to live in a world where people are so quick to judge, to doubt, to question intentions. Tom doesn't do that," Watson explained to E! News. "I know that, even if I've made a mistake, he'll understand that my intention was good. I know that he'll always believe me. Even when he doesn't have the whole picture, he'll never doubt that I'm coming from a good place and will have done my very best. That's true friendship, and to be seen and loved like that is one of the greatest gifts of my life."
As of now, Emma Watson and Tom Felton are still single amidst the relationship speculations.
