Britney Spears Optimistic Looking at Upcoming Divorce from Sam Asghari

Britney Spears has shared her thoughts about the recently announced divorce between herself and husband Sam Asghari. 

Earlier this week, the news broke that pop-icon Britney Spears and her husand Sam Asghari were going their separate ways. The couple got married back in June of last year. Rumors of the couple's split pre-dated the official divorce announcement. Now, a source close to Spears went to People with the singer's thoughts regarding the decision to divorce and sentiments going forward.

The source shared with the outlet that Spears is, "in great spirits despite everything going on..."Obviously it's never an easy thing to go through, but she's remaining positive and focusing on the future." Earlier on, a source similarly went to People sharing that the marriage had been far from perfect between the two for some time. "Their marriage has been on the rocks for months. There has been constant drama. It's sad." Therefore, with the promise of great things to come in the future, we are feeling confident that this split is likely for the best.

In terms of the future, Spears does have a variety of exciting projects on the horizion. She recently released a single with Will.I.Am titled Mind Your Business. The artist is also currently working on a book deal. Her memoir The Woman in Me is set to be released on October 24th of this year. We can't wait to read it. Both with the upcoming work and other projects she has in the making, we are sure to be hearing a lot from the star going forward.
