Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving without a feast, and in New York City, the feasting continues even on the subway train.

TikTok user @itgirljayda_ filmed a subway Thanksgiving feast and uploaded it on the platform. In the video, a table filled with Thanksgiving treats -- complete with plates, utensils and drinks -- was seen in the middle of the train.

Plates and drinks were being passed around and passengers were sharing food and laughter between stops.

When it was time to leave and go down the train, the subway passengers even said goodbye to the uploader as she addressed them, saying, "Bye, cousins!"

The video has since gone viral and garnered a whopping 14.3 million views and over 22,300 comments on TikTok and has been picked up and reposted on other social media accounts.

"This needs to be a movie! All aboard the Thanksgiving train," one user commented, while another said, "This is amazing for those who have no family for Thanksgiving."

"This is so cute for real. This probably made so many people who don't have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving happy," wrote another. A fourth user said,

"Dude, this makes me happy to see how they all united to have a Thanksgiving dinner together even if it's on a train. Goofy for real!"

"This is so cute! Everyone got so separated with the pandemic, so it's so fun to see people celebrating Thanksgiving in public with strangers," said a different user.

"The ending is so cute!" gushed another user. Another agreed, "The 'Bye, cousins' was so cute though. How they all waved."

The viral video was picked up and reposted by X user @kirawontmiss, and it went viral on the social media platform, too, with over 2.2 million views. X users also found the subway Thanksgiving feast heartwarming.

"[This is the] closest we will ever get to world peace," opined one user. Someone else said, "God literally made days like today just so his love can be spread in this authentic type of way. God bless all these folks!"

"Jokes aside, this is beautiful," wrote another while others were questioning the sanitation and cleanliness of the New York City subway.

According to Jada Yuan of the Washington Post, the subway feast took place on the L train, and it was courtesy of Chef Bea from Bea's Kitchen in East New York. They reportedly did this in 2019 as well.

"Thanksgiving" is also the top trending on X, with over 2.24 million tweets with people in the United States sharing how they are spending the holiday.
