HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - APRIL 01: Lisa Ann Walter attends PaleyFest LA 2023 - "Abbott Elementary" at Dolby Theatre on April 01, 2023 in Hollywood, California.

'Celebrity Jeopardy!' season 2 has reached its thrilling conclusion, with Lisa Ann Walter, acclaimed star of 'Abbott Elementary' bested the competition.

Following four months of intense competition, where prominent figures solved challenging trivia questions, fans eagerly awaited the 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' conclusion. The showdown featured Walter, 60, TV personality Mo Rocca, and sports analyst Katie Nolan vying for the coveted $1 million prize for charity, which Walter donated to the Entertainment Community Fund.

ABC, the network airing 'Celebrity Jeopardy!,' inadvertently dropped a hint about the season 2 winner while the episode was still on air. The revelation came through a banner promo for the upcoming episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' which appeared on-screen, indicating that Walter would be a guest later that night. This unexpected revelation left fans speculating about the potential spoiler and raised eyebrows regarding the network's promotional strategy.

"ABC completely spoiled the Celebrity Jeopardy! finale with this ad for Jimmy Kimmel's show," expressed Twitter user @WorthiGe on January 23. They remarked, "As if she just happened to be on tonight and not win," highlighting the social media uproar over what appeared to be an inadvertent reveal of the competition's outcome.

Several viewers took to social media to express their opinions on the inadvertent spoiler.

One person commented on Twitter, now known X, writing, "@CelebJeopardy not cool. Right at the beginning of the final, there was a commercial scroll saying that champion Lisa Ann would be on Kimmel. Not cool."

Walter addressed the incident during her late-night appearance. She took the opportunity to share why winning 'Celebrity Jeopardy!' held significant meaning for her.

"Well, my mom was the 'Jeopardy!' queen. My mom passed two years ago...  she was the one that would sit in the car, talk radio was on. She'd get to a subject and go, 'You know, back in the 1600's,' and then the radio would go off, and we'd get an hour lecture about everything," she said. "That's where I picked up a lot of this stuff... it was really just luck and my mom."

ABC has not yet commented on the suspected inadverent spoiler.
