Meghan Markle's deal with Spotify may have ended, but her "Archetypes" podcast will continue, thanks to her new partnership with Lemonada Media.

On Tuesday, The Duchess of Sussex announced her new creative partnership with Lemonada Media on the latter's official website.

As part of this new deal, Lemonada will distribute the first season of Markle's "Archetypes" podcast on all audio platforms starting in spring. The media company will also develop a new original podcast series for the Duchess of Sussex.

Jessica Cordova Kramer, the CEO and co-founder of Lemonada, said in a press release that they are "beyond honored" to be entrusted with "Archetypes."

"We are beyond honored that Meghan has trusted us to help democratize access to 'Archetypes,' and that so many more people around the world will have access to the series soon," Kramer said.

She continued, "Meghan's talent as [a] host, creator and conversationalist is unparalleled, and we are thrilled to co-create a new series with her that fosters her approach to creating art that matters."

Meanwhile, Markle said, "I'm proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting."

She added, "Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024."

The partnership between Markle and Lemonada came almost eight months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ended their $20-million deal with Spotify in June 2023.

Spotify and Archewell Audio, the Sussexes' production company, announced in a joint statement at the time that they had "mutually agreed to part ways" and were proud of the series they made together per PhilStar Global.

With Markle's new podcast deal, "Archetypes" will soon join Lemonada's lineup of podcasts, including Apple's 2023 Show of the Year "Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus," Apple Podcast's chart-toppers "Blind Plea" and "Funny Cuz It's True with Elyse Myers" and Gracie award-winners "Last Day," "Believe Her" and "Choice of Words with Samantha Bee."

Meghan's podcast, which she described as a podcast where she "investigates, dissects and subverts the labels that try to hold women back," will also be lined up with Webby-winning podcast "Add to Cart with Kulap Vilaysack & SuChin Pak" at Lemonada.
