Meghan Markle Will Only See These 3 Royals If She Joins Prince Harry In UK, Expert Claims
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could travel to the United Kingdom for the Invictus Games' anniversary, but the duchess might only meet with a few royals, according to a royal expert.

The Duchess of Sussex decided to stay at their Montecito mansion and didn't accompany her husband, Prince Harry, on his recent flight to the U.K. However, she might reportedly join him on his next visit, but there could be "restrictions" on who they would be allowed to talk to.
Markle could probably meet with three royals only, according to Jennie Bond, English journalist and former royal correspondent for the BBC for 14 years.

"They could be confined, I think, to meetings with [King] Charles -- and perhaps [Princesses] Eugenie and Beatrice. The rest of the family would have to think hard about the implications of meeting Harry and Meghan," Bond told New Magazine, per Mirror.
She added that other senior royals would have to consider their loyalty to Prince William and Kate Middleton before agreeing to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The royal expert believes the couple could bring their two children -- son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2 -- for the trip. However, it's unclear if they could meet their royal cousins Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

Bond said it would be "natural" for Prince Harry to bring his wife and kids along for the visit. However, Prince Harry lost his legal battle over his security in his home country, and he previously said he didn't feel safe bringing his family to the U.K.
"This claim is about the fact that the claimant does not feel safe when he is in the U.K. given the security arrangements that were applied to him in June 2021 and will continue to be applied to him if he decides to come back," Prince Harry's attorney Shaheed Fatima previously said, per People.

Prince Harry has planned to appeal the ruling over his security. But Ken Wharfe, a former protection officer of his late mom, Princess Diana, believes it's time for him to accept the court's decision because he has no chance to win the case.
"He made a big mistake going to court with this case as he was never going to win," Wharfe said. "Scotland Yard and the Government said they would go the whole nine yards for him, and that should have been enough. He is actually on quite a good deal."
