New research data revealed that Jennifer Lopez experienced a decrease in her Instagram followers after canceling several dates from her upcoming "This Is Me... Now" tour.

Utilizing the social media analytics service Social Blade, CSGOLuck studied J.Lo's Instagram follower count.

The site analyzed the Queen of Dance's follower count from Feb. 18 to March 18 and discovered that she lost 39,000 followers on the social media platform within the period.

The significant decrease reportedly coincided with the performer's cancellation of seven dates from her "This Is Me... Now" tour even before it could kick off.

In the last month, the "Jenny from the Block" singer reportedly lost an average of 1,303 Instagram followers daily. Meanwhile, a consistent decline in J.Lo's Instagram follower count was recorded between March 4 and 17.

"Jennifer Lopez is undeniably one of our generation's most iconic and influential pop stars. Her recent release of multiple new projects has brought immense joy to her devoted fan base," a CSGOLuck spokesperson commented on the data.

"Planning and executing a successful tour involves a multitude of factors. This tour marks J.Lo's first since 2019, making the cancellation of certain dates undoubtedly disappointing for fans in those cities."

"Nevertheless, Jennifer Lopez continues to be adored by fans worldwide," the spokesperson concluded.

As of press time, the 54-year-old Hollywood star still has 253 million followers on Instagram.

Earlier this month, fans of J.Lo who bought August tickets for her tour found out that the "event has been canceled" from Ticketmaster's message.

Refunds were provided, but there's no explanation as to why the shows would not push through. Fans only received this short message: "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event."

Included in the canceled tour dates at the time were shows in the following locations below:

Aug. 22 - Nashville, Tennessee (Bridgestone Arena)

Aug. 24 - Raleigh, North Carolina (PNC Arena)

Aug. 25 - Atlanta, Georgia (State Farm Arena)

Aug. 27 - Tampa, Florida (Amalie Arena)

Aug. 30 - New Orleans, Louisiana (Smoothie King Center)

Per Billboard, the "On The Floor" singer's supposed tours in Ohio and Texas were also canceled.

Aug. 20 - Cleveland, Ohio (Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse)

Aug. 31 - Houston, Texas (Toyota Center)

Sources previously told Billboard that the dates were canceled due to routing issues, but new shows would be added and announced in the future.

"This Is Me... Now: The Tour" is the "Let's Get Loud" singer's first tour in five years. It was announced alongside the release of her ninth studio album, "This Is Me... Now," which eventually "flopped," according to the New York Post.

J.Lo's recent album only charted on Billboard 200 at No. 38, compared to her previous studio albums that debuted within the Top 10.
