Tameka Foster says her career took a sharp turn following a rocky interview with talk show host Wendy Williams.

The fashion designer and stylist pointed out that her rocky era began with Williams, 59, who has recently been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, during a Thursday interview on The Breakfast Club. She reminded co-host Charlamagne Tha God of her first encounter with him and Williams.

Although Charlamagne, formally Lenard Larry McKelvey, insists he wasn't at Williams' studio during that time, Foster nods yes, assuring him he was.

"You were in the studio when I did my radio interview with her," Foster said. "That was the first negative press run and it just spiraled from there." She continued: "And I was so happy to do her show — I was so excited."

DJ Envy, who has hosted The Breakfast Club since 2014, inquired about what was said during the interview that led to Foster getting kicked out of the studio.

The 53-year-old claimed that the interview sparked such a firestorm that various media outlets started to portray her in a negative light that even affected her marriage with singer Usher.

"I got on and the first question was, 'So, is [unnamed] gay, and does [unnamed] get along with their mom...and started asking about all my clients," she explained.

"I was excited about the press, but it was all bad," Foster admits. She told Williams during the encounter how she didn't have those details, or would never tell them.

"She was like, 'There's the door honey! That's not what she said, she was gonna give us the tea' ", Foster said, imitating Willams.

" 'She's a man, she looks like a man, she's this, she's a guy, she's old ya know,' " Foster recalled regarding her negative press. "I didn't have a chance."

Regarding Foster's divorce from Usher Raymond, who recently performed at Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, she told the radio hosts that she "felt free" and that she's able to move around without any pressure.
