Kate Middleton, Prince William 'Going Through Hell' Amid Cancer Battle, Divorce Rumors: Report
Prince William and Kate Middleton's go-to designer and pal shared a rare update about the royal couple.
Amaia Arrieta, who usually dresses the Prince and Princess of Wales' three kids -- Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 -- weighed in on how the future king and queen were doing amid Middleton's cancer battle and the rumors about their marriage.
"I'm heartbroken at the moment, I think they are going through hell, I hope they will be back. It's really personal," Arrieta told The Telegraph.
The statement received mixed responses from netizens. Some wondered if they were divorcing, but many also didn't believe Arrieta's claim and instead questioned how close she was to them to give such a statement. A number also said it was "fake news" because Prince William and Middleton's real friends would not speak to any magazine or outlet about the royal couple.

"The article says they are going through hell and it's personal. What does that mean? Personal? Like it's not the cancer but something else? She doesn't have to share her personal medical records, but is she still in recovery or treatment or is it marriage hell? Who knows?" one commented.
A second user wrote, "Oop, wonder if a divorce is in the near future."
"Just clickbait, just because the Royal children wear the garments you made, you don't know them! Stop it!" a different commenter opined.
"Um No. 1. This woman doesn't know Catherine. 2. She just lost all royal collaboration! What a fruit," a fourth person said.
"Shamelessly fake. Americans don't get it that no friend of this royal couple would talk to a magazine. They have class!" one critic wrote. Another added, "The Wales friends are discreet people. They never spill the beans. So this must be the Harkles daily paid PR in their hometown the USA!!"

It isn't a secret that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going through a lot. Earlier this year, Middleton had gone missing for months after the Palace announced she had an abdominal surgery, prompting some to speculate she wasn't well and that their marriage was on the rocks.
In March, a viral video on TikTok claimed that the royal couple had already divorced. They allegedly signed divorce papers and ended their 13 years of marriage and Middleton left the royal family.
The claim happened when the netizens were wondering where Middleton was as she had never been seen in public for months. However, many also questioned it because no reputable media outlets reported the alleged divorce.

Additionally, the rumors about Prince William's alleged cheating with Rose Hansbury resurfaced. Following the various speculations about Middleton's health and her marriage to Prince William, she was also dragged into a scandal after several outlets said her Mother's Day photo was edited.
Middleton apologized for the incident and later revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer. Prince William took a leave from his public duties and stayed with his wife and kids.
The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29. They marked the event by sharing a never-before-seen wedding photo, which shocked fans because it was in black-and-white. Many said they were scared upon seeing it but were happy for the couple.
