Jennifer Lopez walked the Met Gala 2024 red carpet without a date.

On Monday, the "Queen of Dance" arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the annual benefit ball without her husband, Ben Affleck, by her side.

Lopez, one of the co-chairs for the event alongside Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Anna Wintour, graced the red carpet by herself wearing a near-see-through Schiaparelli couture gown matched with neutral hair and makeup inspired by a butterfly, according to Vogue.

"The inspiration for this look was a butterfly transforming into something beautiful. Just like a butterfly, we wanted the hair to be angelic, fresh and beautiful," said celebrity hairstylist Lorenzo Martin.

While many wondered why J.Lo attended the event solo, there's seems to be no reason for fans to worry because she was wearing her wedding band. Affleck's absence was due to the ongoing filming for "The Accountant 2" in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

The "Gone Girl" actor reportedly never planned on attending the gala with his wife because his new film has been in production since March.

Affleck is reprising his role as the highly intelligent, autistic accountant Christian Wolff from 2016's "The Accountant." For the film's sequel, Wolff will reportedly be tasked with solving the murder of the boss of Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson).

Aside from Affleck and Addai-Robinson, actors Jon Bernthal and J.K. Simmons and director Gavin O'Connor will return for "The Accountant's" sequel.

The Met Gala or Met Ball is held annually for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. This year, the event celebrated its new exhibition, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."

According to The Met, 250 historically significant pieces spanning four centuries were displayed at the exhibit to showcase the "metaphor for the fragility and ephemerality of fashion."
