The casting process for the film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey continues to keep fans in wonder, as the length of time before its 2014 release continues to shorten.

One of the names that's recently come up in chatter for the part of Anastasia Steele's best friend, Kate Kavanagh, is Glee standout Dianna Agron.

According to a 2012 Celebuzz write-up, the 27-year-old "definitely has the range needed" to don the role of the aspiring journalist.

To top it off, Agron does play a sexy blonde with a blunt attitude as Quinn in her TV series, which is quite similar to the strong-willed Kate.

The actress is no stranger to the film world either, as she's been flexing her acting chops as of late, which includes an appearance alongside Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer in The Family, which is slated for release in September.

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who's currently hard at work on the script, stated that she'd be adhering to the content of author E.L. James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness.
