Now just a couple months away from its highly anticipated season 4 return, information on the upcoming installment of AMC's The Walking Dead continues to surface.

During a recent interview on the network's blog, producer David Alpert dished on the topic of civilization building, and whether a law enforced society could ever be restored.

"What we really have here in season 4 is we dangle the carrot that civilization can be rebuilt... The notion that there's civilization and the notion that there's the possibility of there being laws and a sense of normalcy. I think we're going to see an evolution of the threat of human-on-human. Dangling the possibility of civilization will make people much more desperate and willing to do things that would have previously been unthinkable," he said.

As fans may know, the program had spent a brunt of season 3 teasing the prospect of a normal society. However, the town of Woodbury, which was built upon the corrupt leadership of the Governor (David Morrissey), eventually fell.
