Ariana Grande and The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes are officially dating, according to a new report.

Grande, who has recently transitioned from actress to singer, started dating Sykes very recently, according to a Friday report by Us Weekly. The couple recently recorded the song Almost is Never Enough together for the new film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

"It's very, very new," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly, adding that they only started dating recently despite meeting several times. Another source said, "Nate sends her flowers everyday."

Grande gushed over Sykes in a recent MTV News interview regarding their Almost is Never Enough duet.

"Nathan just sang the hell out of it. I thought it was Brian McKnight. I'm like, 'Who is this?' Honestly, I wasn't expecting it. I didn't know he had that in him," she admitted. "I saw him perform live on one of the radio shows that we were at together, and I was like, 'Damn, he can sing.' This song I think will pleasantly surprise a lot of people. It's very beautiful and very emotional and I love, love, love what Nathan did to it. It was a great, great, great surprise."

Neither Grande nor Sykes has officially acknowledged their relationship publically, but fans of both singers have tweeted their excitement over the pair getting together.

Grande will be appearing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. She will be performing her hit songs The Way and Baby I during the live pre-show at 8 p.m. on MTV. The Wanted are not scheduled to be at the VMAs, but it's possible that Grande brings Sykes along with her on the red carpet.
