In the preview for the upcoming episode of Basketball Wives season 5, Evelyn Lozada introduces Tasha Marbury, the show's newest cast member.

Marbury has been married to former NBA player Stephon Marbury for 16 years. The couple wed in September 2002 and have three children together--Xaviera Marbury, Stephon Marbury, Jr, and Stephanie Marbury. He currently plays in China for the Beijing Ducks.

"Stephon has been in China...It's just like me being a single mom, just holding it down," Tasha said in a VH1 teaser. "Sometimes you just feel alone."

Shaunie O'Neal the show's creator and executive producer describe Tasha as a "true diva."

"Tasha's very high maintenance," O'Neal told Sista 2 Sista Magazine. "Everything Tasha has on is a name brand from head to toe."

In another VH1 teaser, Tasha appears to have upset Lozada her longterm friend. During a chat with Suzie Ketchum, Tasha joked that maybe Lozada should "wear a helmet" on a future date. She referred to Lozada's August 2012 incident when she was headbutted by then husband Chad Johnson.

In the clip, Lozada is visibly upset as she asks Ketchum about Marbury's remark when she asks her about Tasha's comment: "And you thought that was funny?" .

Lozada shared the promotional video on her official blog on July 29 and added the caption, "Truly not happy with this encounter. SMH."

VH1 will premiere epsiode 2 of Basketball Wives season 5 on Monday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. EST/7 Central.
