A new video featuring the main cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Andy Samberg's new cop-comedy, was exclusively released by the Huffington Post on Aug. 28.

The video is taken behind the scenes of the show's publicity photo shoot. In the clip, the cast introduces viewers to their characters and gives a sneak peek at what to expect from the cop comedy.

The show comes from the writers and producers, Michael Schur and Dan Goor, of Parks and Recreation. Andy Samberg stars as police officer Jake Peralta and Andre Braugher plays his new captain Ray Holt. The ensemble cast includes Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio and Chelsea Peretti.

Here's how Breaugher defines the role of Holt:

"I have a group of wacky detectives who are playing by their own rules, and what's very clear to me is that these guys actually know what they are doing and they are very good detectives, but this precinct just needs some leadership."

"Jake is a little bit of a wild card, he is a real good cop, a little bit immature, maybe a little rambunctious, maybe a little sarcastic, doesn't like authority too much," says Samberg when describing Peralta's character.

Samberg previously described his character as a "comedy McNulty," referring to The Wire's protagonist portrayed by Dominic West, but "instead of drinking and philandering, he would do gags in the office."

Dean Winters (30 Rock, The Oz, and Rescue Me) and rapper Kid Cudi will also be guest starring on the show.

Saturday Night Live star Fred Armisen is slated to make a cameo in the first episode of the show.

The show will premiere on on Sept. 17 at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
