On the heels of a report the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has cheated on her husband Joe Gorga with an ex-boyfriend, a new report claims that Joe is the one cheating.

The National Enquirer reported on Thursday that Melissa "stormed" away from Joe after she went through his cellphone and discovered sexy text messages from other women.

"After one particularly nasty spat, Melissa decided to flip the tables and secretly check the text messages on Joe's cell phone," a source told National Enquirer. "She didn't expect to find much. Instead, she came across a string of texts from not one, but several different women!"

The insider revealed she found the sexts while Joe was not home. When he arrived and she confronted him, Melissa reportedly became so upset that she threw the phone against a wall and destroyed it.

"When Joe got home, Melissa exploded," said the source. "She dangled the phone inches from Joe's face while he tried to grab it. Finally, Melissa hurled the phone and it smashed against a wall."

The discovery has caused the tension between the couple to reach a "fever pitch" added the source.

In episode 12 of TRHONJ that aired on Aug. 18, Melissa confronted Teresa about the Life & Style cover story that claimed Melissa was cheating on Joe.

Life & Style Weekly reported in February that Melissa was cheating on her husband of nine years. During episode 12 of RHONJ that aired on Aug. 18, Melissa met with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice to discuss the media's coverage of her alleged cheating. Giudice is Joe's older sister who has had an ongoing feud with Melissa since she appeared on RHONJ.

Melissa told Giudice she is upset about the false reports because of the timing--- it came out shortly before the release of her upcoming book.

"I just think that it's really odd that all of these [cheating] rumors come out. It just seems so contrived and calculated," Melissa said. "I have a happy marriage to your brother, we've never had these rumors or any of this kind of bulls---t," she said. "This accusation is huge," she explains.

She asked her sister-in-law if she had anything to do with the published report and Giudice denied it.

"I write this book on my marriage and all of a sudden I'm a cheater!" Melissa said upset.
