VH1's Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta star Erica Dixon has opened up about her new boyfriend for the first time following her split from Lil' Scrappy.

Dixon spoke to umf.com to discuss her new beau. Since the breakup she has shared photos on Instagram with the Money In The Bank rapper. Dixon, a part-time model, said she was platonic friends with O'Shea Russell, also a model and over time their friendhsip took a romantic turn.

"We met over Memorial Day Weekend, and we was just cool, just friends," Dixon explained. "You know, just talking and kicking it. One thing led to another, and we both started developing feelings for each other, so we just made it official."

The mother-of-one said his good looks are not the only thing that attracted her to him but he shares the same faith. He is also a Christian who believes in God.

"He's a man of God, that's what I love the most about him; he's a man of God," Dixon shared. "You know we pray together, and we just keep God first and foremost in our relationship and in everything we do."

Dixon revealed her daughter Emani also approved of him.

"Yes. He's met Emani, and she likes him, so I'm happy about that," Dixon slipped.

Dixon and Lil' Scrappy were rumored to be dating after a tumultuous off-and-on again engagement when filming began for the Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta season 2 reunion show in June. The couple failed to appear on the reunion when their daughter fell ill, according to Scrappy's sometime lover Shay Johnson.

Shortly after the reunion was filmed, Scrappy was rumored to begin dating rapper Bambi, who appeared on LHHA season 2 episode 11. She was seen in a hot tub with rapper Benzino. 

Scrappy and Bambi have been inseperable in July and August. They have been attending events in Atlanta displaying PDA and even have recorded a rap song together.
