Monica Brown gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday, and husband Shannon Brown debuted the first photos of the newborn on Instagram.

The 32-year-old singer was recently spotted sitting courtside at Ludacris' LudaDay Celebrity Basketball Game last weekend looking very pregnant.

Shannon, 27, posted the very first photo of baby girl Laiyah Brown in his arms in a white blanket with leopard print as he has a larger white around the both of them.

"I THANK GOD for her!!! JOY has been restored in my LIFE!!!" the NBA baller captioned the photo.

Though Shannon debuted the first photo, it was actually Kobe Bryan't wife, Vanessa Bryant that broke the news that Monica had given birth earlier this week. 

"I am so honored to announce that baby Laiyah Brown has arrived! Mommy and baby are healthy and well. Congratulations @shannonbrown26 and @monicamylife! We love you guys and we can't wait to meet Laiyah! #6lbs 9/3/13," she wrote. 

In May she announced their baby news on the social media, by posting her first bump photo and saying that she was "five months and counting." 

Baby girl Laiyah is Shannon and Monica's first baby together, but fourth child in the family. Monica already two sond with rapper Rocko; Rodney who was born in 2005 and Romelo born in 2008. Shannon also a son named Shannon Christopher from a prior relationship.
