Survivor host Jeff Probst made his predictions for which new players will struggle to get far on the upcoming season of the series.

For the upcoming 27th season, 10 returning players will come back with their loved ones. Before the season was filmed, Probst predicted which loved ones wouldn't make it far into the season. One of those loved ones was popular contestant Rupert Boneham's wife, Laura.

"I think Rupert's wife is gonna be in a whole lot of trouble," Probst told Entertainment Weekly. "Rupert already has a target for many reasons, some of which are yes, he's won a million dollars and all that. Some of which, he can be a bit of a blowhard at times. But that comes with playing a game like this so many times and being rewarded."

Rupert won $1 million during Survivor: All Stars after he was voted America's Favorite Contestant. Rupert has also appeared on Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. Probst said that he isn't convinced that Laura will do as well as her husband.

"[Laura] keeps telling me she's a very good swimmer, so I could be completely surprised by all of this, but just going in on day one, I would say that Rupert's wife Laura is going to have a hard time out here," Probst predicted.

Probst also predicted that Survivor: Tocantins Heroes vs. Villains contestant Tyson Apostol's girlfriend Rachel Eastin will not do well. He explained that it depends on how she feels after being separated from her boyfriend.

Finally, Probst said that Survivor: Australia winner Tina Wesson's daughter Katie would not do very well. He said that Wesson would likely get far into the game if she got into the right alliance, but her daughter might not be capable of that.

"Katie, her daughter, very capable, but she's still young," Probst said. "I don't think she has the same street smarts as her mom."

Survivor: Blood vs. Water is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
