Khloe Kardashian is fighting hard to keep for her marriage alive with Lamar Odom despite drug abuse and cheating claims, but her mother Kris Jenner has urged her to file divorce papers, according to reports. 

Radar Online reported that the 57-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality mom has pushed Khloe to end her 4-year marriage. 

"At Kris' insistence, Khloe did meet with a divorce lawyer...it was something she was forced into doing by her mom. Kris was very heavy handed and said Khloe had a responsibility to her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, and the Kardashian brand to distance herself from Lamar," a source said.

"It's all about the bottom line with Kris, and Khloe could care less about that. She is still holding out hope that her marriage to Lamar can be saved.

The source added that one of the reason why Khloe is holding on to Odom is because of her self-esteem.

"Four years ago, before Khloe married Lamar, she was just sort of fledgling. Kourtney was on her way to having her first baby, and Kim was dating Reggie Bush. Khloe was living with Kourtney in a townhouse, and her life was just lumped into her sisters'," the source revealed.

Enstars reported earlier that Khloe and Odom are currently living apart, and the Los Angeles Clipper player is the one who wants a divorce. 

"They're separated for the moment," a source said, according to People. "Khloé is spending many nights at her mom's house and Lamar is at his place [in] downtown [L.A.]"
