Taylor Swift and Kelly Osbourne had fun baking in the kitchen Wednesday night, taking time to enjoy a "girls night out" that they later shared with fans on Instagram and Twitter.

Osbourne posted photos of her and Swift in aprons making homemade chocolate peppermint cookies that she later said tasted "amazing." They were baking some goodies with another friend as well but Osbourne could not resist raving about Swift's baking skills.

"#GirlsNight baking with @taylorswift you guys have no idea how good Taylor is at cooking! #shocked," the Fashion Police co-host captioned one of the images, which Swift re-tweeted.

"In home made foodie heaven," she captioned another.

The photos also showed off Osbourne's engagement ring from fiance Matthew Mosshart. Osbourne and Mosshart, a vegan chef, revealed they were engaged in August after being together for two years. Mosshart proposed when they were vacationing in Anguilla. The custom-designed, round diamond ring was inspired by Osbourne's dad, Ozzy Osbourne.

"I designed it to look like an earring that my father wore," she told E! News. "I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say: 'I want a ring like that.' Now I have one!"

Osbourne continues to co-host Fashion Police with Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Kotsiopoulos. Swift ended the North American leg of her Red tour on Aug. 25. She goes back on the road next month with a Nov. 29 performance in Auckland, New Zealand. The singer recently announced dates for her 2014 tour, in which she will travel to the United Kingdom.
